Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Virtual Therapist at Good Therapy San Diego.

Do you ever feel stuck? Disconnected from yourself, others, or the world? We have all felt this way at one point or another. It can be difficult to pause and listen to ourselves, especially in a world that tell us to do anything but slow down. The therapy space I provide allows you to do just that—slow down, take a pause, allow yourself to feel what you have been trying not to feel, and learn that those emotions will pass. In doing so, healing and moving towards wholeness can begin to take place.

Can you turn to those close to you and be vulnerable with them?  Does your partner respond to your needs, or is there something standing in the way of you knowing that your partner is there for you, is responsive and is engaged?  If so, I would like to help you in creating the space necessary to have the potential to actualize authentic connection in your relationship.

My name is Tiffany Triplett. I am a Clinical Lead at GTSD and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am presently a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology.  In addition, I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Religion from Northwest Nazarene University.  I am experienced in working with children, adolescents, transitional age youth, and adults in a variety of different clinical settings including hospital and residential treatment centers, the public-school system, nonprofit agencies, and private practice.  I have extensive knowledge in treating PTSDTraumaDepressionAnxiety, Panic Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, as well as relational issues amongst partners and families.

I use a variety of different treatment modalities and interventions in my work with individuals and couples.  I work with children as young as 4 years of age, where I incorporate Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Behavior Modification, as well as Parent Education.  With adolescent and adult individuals, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Humanistic, Gestalt, Solution Focused and Interfamily Systems therapies.  In addition, I also utilize Trauma Informed Care, Seeking Safety, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) with individuals needing specialized trauma work.  With partners and families, I utilize an attachment-based approach and have advanced training in Emotion Focused Couples/Family Therapy (EFT) as well as Gottman Couples Therapy.

No matter where you are in life or in your relationship, it is my belief that you are on this page for a reason and that you are ready to take steps towards wholeness and well-being. I look forward to the possibility of walking with you in this journey.

Please call (619) 330-9500 or email intake@goodtherapysandiego.com to get scheduled with me or another therapist at GTSD!
