about Camille
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hello! My name is Camille and I am a Board Certified Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and my Master’s of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I work with both adults and adolescents in supporting their goals regarding trauma, anxiety, depression, relational issues, and more.
I believe that by combining a strong relational foundation along with evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Experimental Dynamic Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and fierce self-compassion, together we can help you create a lasting change in your life. I particularly love working with clients who want to go deep. As partners in treatment, we will identify the root causes of your symptoms and work together to heal these wounds. I promise to hold space for all parts of you, especially those parts that have been shamed in the past. Previously, I provided therapy in a non-profit to adults facing grief and loss, trauma, depression, and societal oppression. I have also worked with adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings including schools and non-profits where I saw how they could flourish when provided with empathy and a safe place to explore their inner selves. I have seen how utilizing a strengths-based approach and unconditional positive regard can provide people with the space to explore their motivations, goals for the future, and connect to their authentic selves. In addition, I am privileged to have had training in Gottman Couples Therapy, one of the only evidence-based couples therapy currently available.
I understand that your life is precious and it would be my honor to come alongside you as you face the many challenges and rewards that life has to offer. You are the expert of your own life, and you already have the means within yourself to heal. Therapy can help uncover those strengths. A woman who participated in the Montgomery bus boycott once said “My feet are tired but my soul is rested.” Therapy can be hard work but can provide you with the means to heal and find inner peace that will last a lifetime.
Please call (619) 330-9500 or email intake@goodtherapysandiego.com to get scheduled with me or another therapist at GTSD!

"I reached out to Good Therapy a few weeks ago as I was really struggling with anxiety and just life in general with three toddlers. I was matched with Camille and she has been so warm and compassionate and everything I needed at this point in my life! She has helped me build a healthy relationship with my emotions and that in turn has made me a much happier human to be around. Huge props to Camille for being so thorough in not only addressing current things I'm going through, but helping me work through other things I've experienced that have been affecting me. 100% worth every penny to invest in my mental health. Highly recommend!!"

"Camille has been absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her! She is extremely empathetic and gives insightful guidance that has helped me a lot with personal growth! The sessions are tailored to my needs and what’s most on my mind and she has created a safe space that allows her to push me through a bit of discomfort to find what really is going on and provide me clarity. Overall she is beyond amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone!! Five stars!!"

"This has been my first time in therapy and Camille has been really amazing. Camille is very patient, knowledgeable and compassionate and she has made it really easy to open up and address the deeper causes of my anxiety and stress. She has also given me great resources and tools on how to improve my mental health going forward. I am so grateful for all of her help!"

"Good Therapy was the only place who would schedule me in for a session within a two weeks of my initial call. Since then, things have been going great. In our first meeting nearly six months ago, my therapist Camille was very welcoming, professional and understood the reason for my visit and goals we wanted to achieve. She introduced herself, her background the process she wanted to develop to reach those goals which gave me a great peace of mind and reassured me that this was a good fit. Since then, Camille's approach to therapy and self healing has only confirmed her knowledge and expertise in her field. I feel have truly become a mentally and physically healthier person due to Camille's support and guidance. I could not recommend her and Good Therapy enough."

I decided to seek help at all costs when an old wound burst back open and I knew it just wouldn't go away and I couldn't contain it. I found Good Therapy and was lucky enough to work through things with Camille and I'm tremendously grateful for her expertise. Ultimately she helped me to see more clearly what makes me Me, what has made me Me, and how to be a healthier Me. She also, very gently, led me to discover the deep strength within myself that is always present and which was originally the part of myself that led me here in the first place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Good Therapy and specifically commend Camille for the exceptional work she has done.
