Summer Mayne, Patient Care Coordinator & HR Coordinator

Hi there!
My name is Summer Mayne and I am part of the wonderful Patient Care Coordinator team for Good Therapy San Diego. I am also the HR Coordinator working directly with the Operational Director. I have an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Sonoma State University, and I am currently enrolled in a Masters of Science program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Transitioning from management in the restaurant industry to human resources in the cybersecurity world, I have found that the connection between all of my previous roles has been my passion for helping others succeed. I have experience working as a youth group leader and supervisor for teenagers in an at-risk after school program, where I found passion in helping adolescents navigate the obstacles of growing up and figuring out who they are. I believe there is nothing more rewarding than watching a client grow into their most authentic self.
In my free time, I enjoy connecting with nature through hiking, camping and mountain sports, as well as relaxing at home and trying out new dinner recipes. I am also a lifelong Padres fan, and love attending home games at Petco Park as much as I can. I look forward to meeting you and aligning you with the most beneficial therapist to help you reach your goals!
