​Do you feel like you aren’t on the path that you want to be on? Do you feel like you aren’t having the life experiences you are longing for? If so, you are not alone.

Life can be tricky at times. It can steer us away from what we want or need. It can take us down paths that we may not necessarily want to be on. Together, we can uncover and discover your truest needs, wants, and desires.

I am a big believer in the power of insight, the ah hah moments, the ‘this makes sense now’, as it awakens us. We can then make more empowered choices to better align ourselves with our authentic selves and the lives we want to lead.

Hi, I’m Leila Atiyeh and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I hold a Bachelors in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the corporate world for 13 years. I decided to give that up to follow my passion of becoming a mental health therapist and I have no regrets. I love what I do!

I have experience helping clients overcome a range of challenges including relationship struggles, self-esteem and confidence, family dynamics, work / life balance, and life transitions. As we are all unique, I tailor my approach to your needs and pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance + Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based Therapy. I have also had the priviledge to be trained in Gottman Couples Therapy, which is the only evidence-based form of couples therapy currently available. 

It’s important to me to provide a welcoming, respectful, and accepting space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself without fear of judgement. My style is warm, affirming, and collaborative and I view us as a team. I recognize that reaching out for help can feel daunting. I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey.
