My name is Kaley Bond and I am a registered associate of clinical social work. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University in 2015 and my Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University San Marcos in 2020.
I have worked as a clinical therapist for over three years providing psychotherapy at individual, family, and group levels for adolescents and adults in a variety of settings and levels of care. I have experience working in residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs focusing on crisis stabilization, addressing safety concerns, developing healthy and effective coping strategies, and resolving conflicts within the family system. I have also been fortunate to work with adults living with severe and persistent mental illness as well as active duty military, veterans, and civilians in a trauma-focused intensive outpatient program. My background also includes program leadership and management and supporting the development of new therapists.
My experiences have allowed me to specialize in trauma, mood disorders, adolescent and teen development, grief and loss, body image and self-esteem issues, ADHD, behavioral issues, boundary setting, communication skills, and improving family dynamics. I am certified in CBT, DBT, trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as teaching mindfulness based skills. I am passionate about practicing self-compassion, kindness, self-validation, and empathy to allow us to create a maintain meaningful connections within ourselves and with others.
I believe that when we have when we have the right tools and support we are able to live healthy and fulfilling lives by improving our confidence and abilities in coping through life’s adversities. My goal is to provide a space that is safe and non-judgmental to allow you to discover your authentic and genuine self and achieve your highest potential.
