Iscah Yau, Patient Care Coordinator
My name is Iscah. I am a 2nd year graduate student at Bethel Seminary San Diego. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree at University of California, San Diego and I am currently studying Marital and Family Therapy in hopes to obtaining my professional MFT license after graduation.
I'm most experienced working with children. Before working for Good Therapy San Diego, I worked as a lead instructor and enrichment program specialist for multiple after school programs . My primary responsibilities were to teach STEM classes, oversee staff development and curriculum needs, provide parent feedback on a weekly basis, and ensure students were learning and reaching their potential throughout the session. In addition, I worked as a research assistant for both Research on Autism and Development Laboratory (RADLab) and Geriatric Hoarding Lab at the VA San Diego Healthcare System throughout my undergraduate years. These opportunities have enriched my experiences working in a clinical setting and have allowed me to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs.
As I continue to grow in my professional journey, it is my goal to keep learning and equipping myself with valuable skills so that I can better serve those in need. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out and let me know how I can help!
