Mental Health Therapist Jobs


For talented clinicians who are looking for a skilled clinical group!

Good Therapy San Diego (GTSD) is a group private practice with locations in Encinitas and Sorrento Valley. We are looking for an experienced part-time licensed psychotherapist to join our excellent group of clinicians who are leading the way in treating what has now become a mental health crisis in the United States. We are seeing a surge in new clients needing trauma treatment and couples therapy, and we want you to help!

The Clinician role at GTSD is unique and exciting! We give you the ability to manage your own hours and case load while also providing access to a hard-working team of intake coordinators who can assist you with scheduling, billing, and more. Our goal is to have you grow with the company; Providing you the opportunity to transition to a full-time position pending performance. 

Clinician Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have experience with and be able to treat adults, teens, couples and families in-person
  • At least 10-20 hours per week; approximately 3 days per week
  • Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Field
  • Must be licensed in the State of California
  • CBT, DBT skills, Mindfulness/Meditation, and Internal Family Systems
  • Clinician specialities should include anxiety, depression, relationships and trauma
  • Preference will be given to those who are trained in EMDR and Gottman Couples Therapy
  • Experience with Simple Practice and Google Meet is a plus! (Not required)

Reporting Structure:
  • The Clinician role is mostly independent. You are responsible for organizing your own schedule based on your availability and GTSD needs. However, you are still a part of the organization and expected to collaborate within our team of clinicians that report directly to the Clinical Director as required.
