Camille Mansour, ASW #105219

Picture
Hello! My name is Camille and I am a Board Certified Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and my Master’s of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I have worked with both adults and adolescents in supporting their goals regarding their substance use, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, and more.

I believe that by combining a strong relational foundation with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Experimental Dynamic Psychotherapy, mindfulness, and fierce self-compassion, together we can help you create a lasting change in your life. I believe that because you are unique, your treatment will be unique. I provided therapy in a non-profit to adults facing the anxieties of COVID, grief and loss, trauma, substance misuse, depression, and societal oppression. I have also worked with adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings including schools and non-profits where I saw how they could flourish when provided with empathy and a safe place to explore their inner selves. I have seen how utilizing a strengths-based approach and unconditional positive regard can provide people with the space to explore their motivations, goals for the future, and connect to their authentic selves.
In addition, I am privileged to have had training in Gottman Couples Therapy, the only evidence-based couples therapy currently available.

I understand that your life is precious and it would be my privilege to come alongside you as you face the many challenges and rewards that life has to offer. You are the expert of your own life, and you already have the means within yourself to heal. Therapy can help uncover those strengths. A woman who participated in the Montgomery bus boycott once said “My feet are tired but my soul is rested.” Therapy can be hard work but can provide you with the means to heal and find inner peace that will last a lifetime.

Please call (619) 330-9500 or email intake@goodtherapysandiego.com to get scheduled with me or another therapist at GTSD!

"This has been my first time in therapy and Camille has been really amazing. Camille is very patient, knowledgeable and compassionate and she has made it really easy to open up and address the deeper causes of my anxiety and stress. She has also given me great resources and tools on how to improve my mental health going forward. I am so grateful for all of her help!"

"Good Therapy was the only place who would schedule me in for a session within a two weeks of my initial call.  Since then, things have been going great.  In our first meeting nearly six months ago, my therapist Camille was very welcoming, professional and understood the reason for my visit and goals we wanted to achieve.  She introduced herself, her background the process she wanted to develop to reach those goals which gave me a great peace of mind and reassured me that this was a good fit.  Since then, Camille's approach to therapy and self healing has only confirmed her knowledge and expertise in her field.  I feel have truly become a mentally and physically healthier person due to Camille's support and guidance.  I could not recommend her and Good Therapy enough."
