Camille Mansour, ASW #105219

Hello! My name is Camille and I am a Board Certified Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and my Master’s of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I have worked with both adults and adolescents in supporting their goals regarding their substance use, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, and more.
I believe that by combining a strong relational foundation with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Experimental Dynamic Psychotherapy, mindfulness, and fierce self-compassion, together we can help you create a lasting change in your life. I believe that because you are unique, your treatment will be unique. I provided therapy in a non-profit to adults facing the anxieties of COVID, grief and loss, trauma, substance misuse, depression, and societal oppression. I have also worked with adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings including schools and non-profits where I saw how they could flourish when provided with empathy and a safe place to explore their inner selves. I have seen how utilizing a strengths-based approach and unconditional positive regard can provide people with the space to explore their motivations, goals for the future, and connect to their authentic selves. In addition, I am privileged to have had training in Gottman Couples Therapy, the only evidence-based couples therapy currently available, as well as training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I understand that your life is precious and it would be my privilege to come alongside you as you face the many challenges and rewards that life has to offer. You are the expert of your own life, and you already have the means within yourself to heal. Therapy can help uncover those strengths. A woman who participated in the Montgomery bus boycott once said “My feet are tired but my soul is rested.” Therapy can be hard work but can provide you with the means to heal and find inner peace that will last a lifetime.
I look forward to working with you!
