My experience includes providing psychotherapy both at a local hospice supporting clients through some of life's most heart-wrenching moments- child loss, sudden death, cancer, homicide, suicide & drug overdose to working in private practice doing extensive trauma and EMDR work with many of our local first responders including firefighters, paramedics, and police officers providing extensive trauma, stress & anxiety therapy. Additionally, I have supported clients struggling with everything from social anxiety and ADHD to divorce, empty nest, perfectionism, and dissociation. Positive, strengths based, solution focused work is at the heart of my therapeutic approach. This encompasses a collection of theoretical approaches to best meet your needs, personality, and goals for therapy such as psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential psychology as well as the incorporation of polyvagal, and attachment theory as well as neuroscience.
